Save earth campaign on horseback!

Indore, Mar 7: Nine riders on horseback made a record attempt, riding non-stop for 24 hours on Friday, Mar 6 here to urge people to save earth.

"The riding club undertook horse riding to give the message to the people that if they want to save the earth, they should make all possible efforts to save water and trees," said Achal Chaudhary, chairman, Indore Public School Academy.

The men on horseback rode within a circle of 300 metres, with the riders and the horses taking a break for half-an-hour every three hours.

"We carried on horse riding for 24 hours non-stop. We want to tell the people of Indore that they should save water and trees. Water is life. If there is no water, there would be no trees," said Anshul Gherwal, a participant.

A team of doctors from Mumbai was especially present throughout the event to check the fitness of the riders.

A team of veterinary doctors was also present to take care of the horses.
