Cynthia Nixon denies 'Sex And The City Broadway musical' reports
London, Mar 7 (ANI): Actress Cynthia Nixon has dismissed reports that hit TV show Sex And The City was being turned into a Broadway musical.
Nixon and her co-stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis and Kim Cattrall reunited for the big screen adaptation of the programme last year, which grossed 284 million pounds worldwide.
The success of the film has prompted a sequel.
However, the 42-year-old star, known for her portrayal of lawyer Miranda Hobbes in the HBO series, insists the Sex and the City cast is not set for the theatre.
"It would be really hard for people to even see just two of us together on a stage. That would be way too distracting!" the Daily Express quoted her as telling New York Daily News. (ANI)
