41 seats deal b/w Congress, NCP in Maharashtra

Mumbai, Mar 5: Congress party and National Congress Party (NCP) after 4 round of negotiations reached a deal to contest on 40-41 Lok Sabha seats in Maharashtra. Party sources said that the decision on the remaining 8 seats will be take soon

"We have reached the formula for sharing 40 seats and all RPI factions, and the Samajwadi Party will be adjusted in a few seats besides finalising other seats," told the senior NCP leader and Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel in Nagpur. Congress and NCP will contest 19 seats each. Sharad Pawar, the NCP supremo will contest the Lok Sabha polls from Madha near Baramati of Maharashtra
