Tata advances booking date of Nano to Mar 23

Geneva, Mar 4: Tata Nano, India's cheapest car will be available for booking on Monday, Mar 23. Tata Motors, manufacturers of Nano has plans of coinciding the booking with the commercial launch on Monday, Mar 23.

While the bookings will start from Mar 23, delivery will start from first week of Apr. On Feb 26, the company had announced its plans of launching on Mar 23 and bookings from the second week of Apr.

The company ruled out the media reports of booking the first lot of cars to VIPs and celebrities.

The European version of the Tata Nano, 'Tata Europa' is also unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show. Europa will be commercially launched by 2011.
