Kate Walsh volunteers at children's hospital to nurture parenting skills

Washington, Mar 4 (ANI): Kate Walsh may be amidst her divorce proceedings, but she is so keen on having children that she has been volunteering at a local children's hospital in Los Angeles to nurture her parenting skills.

The 'Private Practice' actress is separating from her husband Alex Young, whom she wed in September 2007.

But the 41-year-old star would love to become a mother, and thus has signed up for volunteer work at a baby unit in Los Angeles, to nurture her parenting skills."One of the things I have gotten into is volunteering at hospitals in L.A., helping with the infants who need human contact," Contactmusic quoted her as telling Redbook magazine.

She added: "A few weeks back, I was holding this little baby... I turned to the nurse and asked, 'Is there any way I can volunteer just to hold babies?'" (ANI)
