Katrina, Farhan to perform at Filmfare awards

Mumbai, Feb 28 : A grand event with glitz and glamour will be organised on Saturday, Feb 28 night at Yash Raj Studios to give away the 54th Idea Filmfare Awards 2008.

The event will be studded with a variety of star performances to showcase the true colors of Bollywood where the largest number of films in the world are produced ever year.

Ranbir Kapoor and Imran Khan will host the event whereas actors like Abhishek Bachchan, Shahid Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Farhan Akhtar are slated to perform on hit numbers Saturday, Feb 28 night.

Films like Jodhaa Akbar, Ghajini, Rock on, Dostana and Fashion have been nominated for Best films this year. Felicitating the talent in Bollywood for 54 years, the Filmfare awards are one of the most coveted and prestigious awards in the Indian film industry.

The award also felicitates a veteran film personality every year with a Lifetime achievement.
