Chris Brown tries to buy back Rihanna's love with gifts
Melbourne, Feb 24 (ANI): It looks like American singer/songwriter Chris Brown is trying to get back into his ex-girlfriend Rihanna's good graces by presenting her with lavish gifts on her 21st birthday.
As per Hollyscoop.com, Rihanna celebrated her birthday this past weekend, throwing a low-key party at a home in the Hollywood Hills.
Brown is said to have bought her an expensive diamond necklace and bracelet, along with an iPod Touch, and his mother is said to have sent over a bouquet of flowers.
"Chris called Rihanna to wish her a happy birthday. He's absolutely trying to get back into her good graces. He knows he's very much in the doghouse right now, and is doing everything he can to show her how sorry he is," the Daily Telegraph quoted a source as telling the New York Daily News.
"Rihanna so wanted Chris with her on her big day, but obviously realises why they can't be together right now. But it's becoming more and more clear that she can't be without him," the source added. (ANI)
