Bangalore, Feb 20: Karnataka Chief minister, B S Yeddiyurappa on Friday, Feb 20 presented the Karnataka Budget keeping in view, global recession and Lok Sabha polls. Before making the budget speech, he promised to give a fair budget for all amidst global crisis.

-Overall budget amount Rs 29,500 crore

-Agriculture University for Raichur district

-Rs 75 Crore for development of lakes

-Rs 100 crore for support prices

-New University at Dharwad

-Veterinary College in Gadag allotted Rs 5 crores

-Rs 750 crore for support prices of Agricultural products

-Turmeric market in Chamarajanagar

-Rs 2112 crore for services related to Agriculture

-Rs 3126 crore for energy sources

-Rs 850 crore for Bangalore Development Authority

-Rs 50.60 crore for Information and Broadcasting sector

-Rs 800 crore for rural roads development

-Rs 10 crore for State Veternary University

-Sophisticated goods market in Bangalore's Byatrayanapura

-Rs 828 crore towards industries and mining

-Rs 897 crore for health sector

-Tumkur University renamed as Dr Shivakumar Swamiji University

-Rs 3096 crore for heavy and medium irrigation

-Rs 188 crore for special region

-Rs 769 crore for general financial services

-Rs 167 crore for labour and employment sector

-Rs 2574 crore for Nanjundappa report implementation

-Speedy implementation of Krishna canal upper project

-Employment mela created 13,000 jobs

-Rs 10 crore for cold storage in Chamaraja nagar

-Cow shelter in every taluk

-Rs 8,888 crore for education sector

-Rs 100 crore for organic farming

-Rs 10 lakh for cow shelter

-Rs 2,100 crore for supply of electricity to farmers

-Rs 2,440 crore for Agricultural development
