Decision on Satyam bidding soon: L&T

Mumbai, Feb 20: Larsen and Toubro said only after reviewing the Company Law Board order, it will take a decision on bidding for Satyam Computer Services. On Thursday, Feb 19 the CLB granted permission to fraud-hit Satyam to conduct a public auction for inducting a strategic investor and to raise its equity base.

The government appointed Board of Directors of Satyam was also authorised by CLB for making allotment of preferential shares and raise its equity capital by 75 pc from Rs 160 cr to 280 cr.
