Congress to protest against BJP in MP today
Bhopal, Feb 16 (ANI): The opposition Congress party will organize demonstrations against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in Madhya Pradesh today for its failure on several fronts.
The Congress has blamed the BJP for not fulfilling its promises to give employees the full benefit of the Sixth Pay Commission and to waive farmer's loans of up to 50,000 rupees.
Party workers are likely to stage sit-in demonstrations across the state.
The BJP Government is also being accused of corruption and failure to address the problems of unemployment and malnutrition.
Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee President Suresh Pachouri has assured that if the Congress comes to power in Madhya Pradesh, it will implement the Sixth Pay Commission and remove discrepancies in the Fifth Pay Commission on a priority basis. (ANI)
