Bollywood actors create fan frenzy in showbiz Mumbai

Mumbai, Feb 15 (ANI): Loud cheering and wolf whistles greeted Bollywood actors Abhishek Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor at an event here last evening.

The two lead actors of forthcoming film 'Delhi 6' caused mass hysteria as they arrived to promote their film during a reality television show.

Directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, who shot to fame with his phenomenal 'Rang De Basanti', the film, 'Delhi 6' captures life in the narrow by-lanes of New Delhi.

Speaking about his experiences during the film, Abhishek said, "It was wonderful. Rakeysh and I were trying to work together for over 12 years. It was wonderful that we got to work together on 'Delhi 6'."

The title of the film 'Delhi 6', is inspired by the postal code of an area in Delhi where the story is based. This area houses the famous market place Chandni Chowk, Jama Masjid and Red Fort.

The story revolves around Roshan who comes back from New York to India with his ailing grandmother. He doesn't know that this quick trip will turn into the longest journey of his life.

The story of the film is placed against the backdrop of the ancient walled city of Delhi.

The film is slated to be released on February 20. (ANI)
