Will Smith and wife ready to help Chris Brown and Rihanna

Washington, Feb 14 (ANI): American actor Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett Smith have revealed that they are willing to provide singers Chris Brown and Rihanna any sort of support should they require it.

Smith, 40, also said that at the moment the young couple needed time to figure things out.

"Jada and I reached out to both of them. If it's help they need, then let's get it right," People magazine quoted him as telling Extra.

The actor further insisted that people should step back and give themselves space, instead of going ahead and forming their own versions of the event.

"This is a time where they need to be left alone and if they have things they need to work out, work it out," Smith said.

"People should take a minute before they jump on it and judge.

"We don't know nothing. If there are mistakes people make, then they should be willing to live up to the mistakes and do whatever penance they need to do.

"I don't think it's up to us, specifically the media, with such a fast hand to try to chop someone's head off," he added. (ANI)
