Carrie Underwood brands Brown-Rihanna rumours 'ridiculous'
Washington, Feb 14 (ANI): Carrie Underwood has said that Chris Brown and Rihanna seemed fine when she saw them at Clive Davis' Pre-Grammy Gala in Beverly Hills, and that the rumours about the couple are ridiculous.
Underwood spotted the couple at the bash, just hours before Brown allegedly assaulted Rihanna. They were fine at the Grammy party," Us magazine quoted Underwood as saying.
Talking top reporters at the American Idol Experience at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Florida, she said: "I don't think anybody actually knows what happened. I have no advice because, thank goodness, I've never been in any kind of abusive situation."
She also said that she hoped people "would stop" spreading rumours about what led to the incident.
"You hear a new one every five minutes, and some of them are getting kind of ridiculous. I really hope everyone will lay off and just let everybody who's involved figure out everything first," she said. (ANI)
