London, Feb 13 (ANI): Queen of Pop Madonna has been named the highest-earning musician of 2008.
The 'Material Girl' hitmaker released her latest album 'Hard Candy' last year (08) and launched her Sticky and Sweet world tour, reports the Daily Express.
And it looks like all the hard work has paid off, for the singer has topped Billboard's Moneymakers list of 2008, raking in 167 million pounds.
Rockers Bon Jovi came second in the poll with 108 million pounds while Bruce Springsteen landed the third spot with 107 million pounds.
The Police stood fourth after raking in 75 million pounds and Celine Dion rounded off the top five with 68 million pounds.
