Fog hits air & rail services in Delhi again

New Delhi, Dec 30: Air, road and rail traffic was hit badly for the second day in National Capital due to dense fog and poor visibility. Many flights are either cancelled. Delhi to Bangalore flight Indigo 6E and Spicejet SG 501 from Delhi to Bangalore are cancelled. Also, Indigo 6E 184 and Spicejet SG 851 flights from Mumbai were cancelled.

As a result of fog eight domestic flights are cancelled. 12 domestic flights and eight international flights are delayed. The flights are already running behind schedule in Delhi's domestic and international airports as visibility on the runways is just 50 meters.

The general visibility is also poor, about 100 meters. Several trains are also running behind the schedule. Departure of atleast five trains from Delhi are delayed so far as per the reports. However the season's thickest for hit New Delhi on late Sunday, Dec 28 night, throwing the air schedules haywire.
