Sheila Dikshit sworn-in as Delhi CM

New Delhi, Dec 17: Sheila Dikshit, who led the Congress party to taste victory for the third consecutive time was sworn-in as the Delhi Chief Minister on Dec 17 in the national Capital. Lt Governor Tejendra Khanna administered oath of secrecy and post to Dikshit and her six cabinet ministers in a grand ceremony at the Raj Bhavan.

On Monday, Dec 15, Sheila staked claim for the formation of a new government in the city being the leader of the largest party in the city. A K Walia, Rajkumar Chauhan, Arvinder Singh Lovely, Haroon Yusuf, Kiran Walia, Mangat Ram Singhal were also sworn-in as six Cabinet ministers.
