FBI team visits Hotel Taj Mahal in Mumbai
Mumbai, Dec 1 : United States investigating agency, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), took first hand information of Hotel Taj, one of the sites attacked in Mumbai, on Monday to help the Indian investigating agencies unravel the conspiracy behind the Mumbai terror attacks.
The FBI team arrived in India reportedly to give technical and forensic support to crack down the atrocious Mumbai attacks that according to state police killed around 200 people, including 22 foreigners.
United States ambassador to India, David Mulford had earlier confirmed the death of six American nationals in the attacks.
FBI had earlier cooperated with Indian authorities to investigate in the hijacking of an Indian Airlines flight to Kandahar as an American citizen was also held captive then.
