Godman supplying bombs to rowdies held

Tiruchirapalli, Nov 30 (UNI) Police arrested a 32-year-old self-styled godman for allegedly making and supplying countrymade bombs to local rowdy elements, at suburban Manachanallur, near here, last night.

Police said Saravanan was arrested and a few country made bombs seized from his possession.

The arrest of Saravanan was a follow up measure by police who took into custody four people including two women, here yesterday, for their involvement in several incidents of waylaying at knifepoint and using countrymade bombs in and around the city in the recent days.
