Call for national-level law to curb terrorism
Vijayawada, Nov 30 (UNI) The Centre should bring in a national-level integrated law and take effective steps to combat terrorism, Loksatta Party Founder and National Co-ordinator Jayaprakash Narayan felt today.
Addressing mediapersons here, he said during in the last four years, a large number of innocent people and security personnel were killed in various incidents of terrorism.
The Loksatta Party wanted the Centre to deploy National Security Guard (NSG) on permanent basis in the States to curb such incidents.
He also called upon the people to maintain a united stance against the menace of terrorism.
The party proposed to write a letters and send e-mails to the Prime Minister and Opposition Leaders in Parliament to bring the law on terrorism.
