AP CM cynosure of all eyes at Half Marathon

Hyderabad, Nov 30 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, doning a different attire, was the cynosure of all eyes at the prestigious ''Hyderabad Half Marathon'' here today.

Dr Reddy, who normally appears in public in the traditional 'dhoti', was cheered by the youthful crowd when he came for the ''Hyderabad Half Marathon'' in a T-Shirt along with State Assembly Speaker K R Suresh Reddy and Irrigation Minister P Lakshmaiah, among other Ministers, to flag off the run.

Normally, the Chief Minister wears ''Jodhpuri'' suit while visiting the national capital to meet Congress president Sonia Gandhi or attend official meetings convened by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

On the occasion, Hyderabadis observed a two-minute silence for those killed in the terrorist strikes in Mumbai and expressed solidarity with the people of Mumbai.
