Valuables worth lakhs of rupees looted in Darbhanga
Darbhanga, Nov 29 (UNI) Robbers barged into two houses and looted cash and jewellery worth lakhs of rupees at Thalwara village under Ashok Paper Mill police station in the district early today.
Deputy Police Superintendent Dillip Kumar Mishra said about 15 dacoits raided the house of one Ramdeo Ojha and looted the cash and jewellery worth lakhs of rupees at gun point and managed to escape.
Later, they also entered into the nearby residence of Bijay Kumar Mishra and also looted the cash and other valuables from there.
Dacoits swiftly retreated from the spot, when the victims screamed for help, he said, adding raids were on to nab the robbers and recover the looted cash and jewellery from them.
