Silver opens low, gold high on bullish advice
Mumbai, Nov 29: Precious metals had a mixed opening on Saturday, Nov 29 morning, traders in the Bombay Bullion Association said.
Silver resumed with a loss of Rs 85 per kg at Rs 17,360, following lack of demand. The yellow metal, however, glittered by Rs 70 per ten gm at Rs 13,160, on speculative demand by industrial users, traders said.
Following were the spot silver and gold opening prices: Silver (per kg) .999 grade: Rs 17,360 Gold (per 10 gm): Standard mint 99.5 purity: Rs 13,160 Pure gold 99.9 purity: Rs 13,220.
