Rainfall in few places in Karnataka

Bangalore, Nov 29: Following is the summary of observations recorded in weather office here at 0830 hrs on Saturday, Nov 29. Rainfall occurred at most places over North Interior Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka and at many places over Coastal Karnataka.

Heavy rainfall amounts (cm): Gadag 10, Navalgund, Shivani, 8each, Soundatti, Santhebennur, Bharamasagara 7 each.

Other chief rainfall amounts: Belawadi, Hubli, Nargund, M M Hills 6 each, Shirahatti, Yegati, Channagiri, Tiptur 5 each, Bajpe, Siddapura, Dharwad, Kundagol, Shiggaon Savanur, Haveri, Kottigehara, Arkalgud, Arsikere 4 each, Mudibidre, Mulki, Panambur, Karkala, Bailhongal, Gokak, Yeragatti, Hirekerur, Mundargi, Bellary, Chitradurga 3 each, Mani, Kadur, Alur, Hallimysore,Channapatna, Honnali, Jagalur 2 each.

Minimum temperatures changed little over the state. They were above normal at most places being appreciably so at a few places over North Interior Karnataka: above normal at many places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka being appreciably so at a few places over South Interior Karnataka.

Chamarajanagar recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 18.2 deg.
