NPCC condemns Mumbai attack
Kohima, Nov 29 (UNI) The Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) today condemned the terrorist attacks in Mumbai, saying the 'reign of terror' created by the terrorists had deeply shaken the entire fabric of the nation.
In a letter, NPCC president K V Pusa to Maharastra Chief Minister Vilas Rao Deshmukh, extended his salutation to the security forces for laying down their lives, for the nation while terming it as the highest sacrifice, a person can give for the motherland.
Viewing that crimes by terrorists have no place in a civilised nation, the letter said the situation demands the nation should rise to the occasion unitedly to stem out the menace of terrorism.
He extended his heartiest congratulations to Mr Deshmukh for displaying leadership capability and sagacity in tackling the issue with tenacity and firm hand.
He also conveyed condolences to the bereaved families.
