Night temperature increases in Shimla
Shimla, Nov 29 (UNI) The capital town Shimla got some relief from chilly night as the night temperature of the town was 10 degrees above normal even as icy winds swept across the tribal belts of Himachal Pradesh.
The minimum temperature of Shimla rose to 13 degrees Celsius against yesterday's 10 degrees Celsius. Nahan recorded 13.6 degrees Cesius and at Dharamshala the temperature increased by two points and settled at 10.7 degrees against yesterday's 8.5 degrees celsius.
In the tribal belts, Keylong in Lahaul and Spiti district was cold at minus 2.7 degrees Celsius. In Kalpa in the tribal district of Kinnaur the night temperature was at three degrees.
The tourist resort of Manali also got some relief from chilly weather as the minimum temperature increased to 3.2 degrees against yesterday's 0.8 degrees.
Bhuntar in Kullu district was cold at 2.0 degrees, Sundernagar at 3.1, Solan 4.8, Una 3.8 degrees and Mandi 4.4 degrees.
Met office has forecast dry weather and clear weather conditions for next 24 hrs.
