Gujarat pavilion bags gold medal at IITF Fair-2008

Gandhinagar, Nov 29 (UNI) The Gujarat pavilion bagged gold medal at the India International Trade Fair-2008, organised by India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), for excellence in display.

The medal was received by U M Pandit, Assistant General Manager, INDEXTb, a state government event management firm, from Union Minister of State for Commerce and Power Jairam Ramesh.

The theme of IITF Fair-2008, held from November 14 to 27 at New Delhi, was ''Infrastructure and Women Empowerment'', and the participant states had to project their progress in this, an official release said today.

Gujarat had also won gold in IITF Fair 2005 and silver in 2006.
