Ex-UP minister Rama Shankar Kaushik dies
Lucknow, Nov 29 (UNI) Former Uttar Pradesh minister and senior Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Rama Shankar Kaushik passed away, following a brief illness in Moradabad district of Uttar Pradesh today.
He was 77.
Kaushik, resident of Gajjraula, was one time Rajya Sabha and two time Lok Sabha member.
SP president Mulayam Singh Yadav, meanwhile, expressed sorrow upon the demise of the leader and said the party has suffered an irreparable loss. Mr Yadav also extended heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family.
