Brihad Lok Adalat to be held in all districts tomorrow
Bhopal, Nov 29 (UNI) In order to ensure quick disposal of cases in Madhya Pradesh, a massive Lok Adalat would be organised in all the districts and tahshils tomorrow.
Bhopal District and Sessions Judge Gulab Sharma told reporters here today said that Madhya Pradesh Administrative Judge Justice R S Garg would inaugurate the Mega Lok Adalat at the district court premises here tomorrow.
Altogether 10,465 cases were identified and notice served to litigants in this regard.
These cases include 1,095 criminal, 2,470 power dispute, 1,862 cheque bounce and 3,840 pre-litigation cases.
''We are expecting to dispose fifty per cent of 4,119 pending cases,'' Mr Sharma said, adding that the court was confident to dispose the cases as expeditiously as possible.
Mr Sharma said Madhya Pradesh had earned the distinction of bagging top place in the country as far as disposal of cases were concerned.
