BJP, RSS protest terrorism, set ablaze Pak flag

Gonda, Nov 29 (UNI) The BJP and Hindu organisations like RSS and Bajrang Dal here today set afire the Pakistani flag, besides burning an effigy representing terrorism in the wake of the Mumbai terror attacks.

The activists carried out a procession and ranted anti-terrorism slogans. Later, they burnt the flag of Pakistan and set on fire ''terrorism effigy'' , sources said.

Condemning the heinous acts in the financial city as well as other parts of the country, the mob demanded execution of Afzal Guru, convicted in the 2001 Parliament attack case.

The agitators also demanded adequate security cover to the comman-man.
