AP Cabinet mourns V P Singh's death

Hyderabad, Nov 29 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh cabinet today expressed shock and grief over the death of former Prime Minister V P Singh on November 27.

The cabinet meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, recalled Mr Singh's services as Prime Minister and Union Minister, according to official sources here.

Singh was a great leader, Parliamentarian and administrator. He was a socialist to the core and worked hard for the uplift of the downtrodden, it noted.

The Cabinet expressed heartfelt condolences to Mr Singh's bereaved family.
