13th finance commission to arrive on 3-day visit on December 11

Patna Nov 29 (UNI) Bihar deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi today said the 13th finance commission would be on a three-day state visit starting December 11.

Mr Modi said here that the state government would submit a detailed memorandum to the finance commission on charter of demands.

including the special package for Bihar. The commission would also make an on the spot review of various educational and welfare schemes during its visit, he added.

Deputy Chief Minister said a number of representatives of the business community, including the Bihar Chamber of Commerce and Bihar Industries Association would call on finance commission.

Representatives of all political parties were also scheduled to meet the commission, he added.
