Village mukhiya kills wife in Darbhanga

Darbhanga, Nov 28: A man killed his wife with a sharp-edged weapon at Pola village under Kusheshwar police station area in the district on Friday, Nov 28.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Sanjay Kumar said one Bhagwan Lal mukhiya of Pola village, killed his wife Jaimala Devi with the weapon while she was working in the field.

An altercation over a trivial issue led , Bhagwan Lal attack his wife, resulting in her death on the spot, he added.

The local people caught hold of the killer and handed him over to the police, Mr Kumar said adding that the matter was being investigated.
