Tyra Banks has no plans to lend her name to fashion products

Washington, November 28 : When it comes to branding her name on a product, Tyra Banks can be a tough nut to crack.

The American supermodel revealed that she was approached frequently to launch her brand name, but she rejected the idea since she did not wish to grab a piece of lifestyle marketplace like other Hollywood counterparts.

"I don't just want to throw my name on stuff like that. Oh, my God, I've had the opportunity. And I could have retired off of doing that type of stuff," Contactmusic quoted her as telling Ebony magazine.

"I just feel that the marketplace for celebrities throwing their names on things is oversaturated," she added.

The catwalk queen, who created and hosts the hit reality television show 'America's Next Top Model', further said that even lucrative offers could not tempt her to lend her name to fashion, perfume or beauty products.
