Talwar will be new Health Secretary of Punjab

Chandigarh, Nov 28 (UNI) Senior IAS officer A R Talwar will be the new Principal Secretary, Health and Family Welfare in place of Mr Vijay Kain, who retires on November 30.

However, Mr Talwar will continue to hold charge of the Defence Services Welfare department, an official release here today stated.

Mr Jasbir Singh Bir, Secretary, Personnel and in addition Secretary, General Administration has been shifted to Patiala as Divisional Commissioner.

Mrs Seema Jain, Secretary, Public Grievances and Pensions and in addition Secretary, Printing and Stationery will also hold charge of the Information Technology as its Director is relieving R K Verma, of this charge.

Iqbal Singh Sidhu, IAS, MD, Punjab State Warehousing Corporation will hold additional charge as Secretary, Personnel and General Administration.
