Shiv Sena withdraws bandh on Dec 1

Mumbai, Nov 28 (UNI) Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray has withdrawn the Maharashtra bandh call, in support of the Malegaon blast suspects, on December one.

In a release issued here today, Mr Thackeray said Shiv Sena was withdrawing the bandh call to mourn the martyrs, who laid down their lives while fighting the terrorists in Mumbai.

It may be recalled that on November 26 Mr Thackeray had called for a state-wide bandh in support of Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur and other activists of Hindu organisation suspected to be involved in the case.
