NSF restricts movement of govt vehicles
Kohima, Nov 28 (UNI) The Naga Students' Federation (NSF) today stopped movement of all government vehicles in and around Kohima as the next part of their agitation to press for their demands to review the announcement of the stste government on superannuation.
The volunteers of NSF are picketing at some of the strategic points to stop the vehicles belonging to the state government and some of the vehicles were returned to where they came from.
Meanwhile, the Chief Secretary had convened a meeting yesterday with senior officials at the State Secretariat and instructed the employees to arrange their attending office for today themselves, as no government vehicle will be plied on the road.
Accordingly the government employees attended their office either with their own vehicles or by hired communications and attendance in the State Secretariat was ''very good'', official sources said.
NSF sources said that if the state government did not heed their demand, they will call a 12-hour statewide bandh on December 1.
