ISAM Annual Conference from Dec one
Bangalore, Nov 28 (UNI) The Indian Society of Aerospace Medicine (ISAM) will hold its 48th Annual Conference at the Institute of Aerospace Medicine here from December one to three.
Defence Minister A K Antony would inaugurate the conference, which would also be attended by the Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal F H Major.
The theme of the conference would be 'Operational Space and Civil Aviation Medicine,' a DRDO release said here today.
The conference was aimed to showcase the scientific advancement of the country in the field of aerospace medicine and provide business opportunities for the companies dealing with aeromedical equipments.
An exhibition, highlighting the role and advancement of aeromedical equipment in modern aviation by national and multinational companies, would also be held.
Apart from this, multiple civil aviation workshops would also be organised during the conference, it said.
About 200 delegates, including those from abroad both from operational and medical streams, would participate in the conference.
