Grieving relatives throng Mumbai hospitals for information on victims

Mumbai, Nov.28 : Grieving relatives thronged Mumbai's St. George Hospital on Thursday for information on the victims of the terror strikes that have so far claimed 127 lives and injured 327.

Around 75 bodies and 250 injured were reportedly brought to the St. George and G T hospitals in the city after heavily armed militants attacked luxury hotels, a hospital, a railway station and a tourist cafe that killed around 100 people.

Agitated relatives of the victims stood outside the hospital lying in wait to gather information about their kin.

Recalling the horror of the attack, an unidentified eyewitness said, "I was at the railway station with six people including my mother and we were going to my village. We were about to board the Geetanjali Express. Suddenly a bomb exploded just few paces away from where my luggage was kept. I tried to get my luggage, and my wife who was also with me was injured by a bullet."

Army personnel and NSG commandoes have been deployed to flush out the militants and rescue hostages.
