2000 children from Iraq to be provided cardiac treatment

Bangalore, Nov 28: About 2,000 children suffering from heart disease in Iraq will be provided medical treatment at 'Narayana Hrudayalaya' hospital here, under the auspices of a Dubai-based NGO 'Tareeq-Al-Zuhoor Campaign' (TAZC)' which has arranged for their treatment.

Hospital General Manager K S Vasuki on Friday, Nov 28 told UNI that the first batch comprising the affected children, counsellors and doctors would arrive here tomorrow from Baghdad via Dubai. The children were in the age group of two to 13.

He said doctors at the hospital were persuing the investigation reports sent in advance to them. Based on the findings of the report, the NGO would be advised to make further travel arrangements for the children.
