Speaking before addressing a party rally here, Gandhi said: "This is the time to remain united to face the challenge of terrorism."
He claimed the all terrorists wanted to divide the country, but people and the government should face up to their challenge and thwart their evil designs.
He said that when he landed at the local airport, he was told to cancel his public meetings, but he decided that the need of the hour was to be with the people and offer condolences to those who had been killed or injured in Mumbai.
