Maharashtra Governor condoles V P Singh's death

Mumbai, Nov 27 (UNI) The Maharashtra Governor S C Jamir today said that in the death of former prime minister V P Singh, the country has lost a kind hearted mass leader.

Dr Jamir, in his condolence message, mentioned the contribution made by the departed leader towards the progress of his state, Uttar Pradesh and later for the country.

He said the former prime minister was a highly respected political leader in the country with strong popular support.
