Coast guard on hot pursuit against ship which brought terrorists
New Delhi, Nov 27 (UNI) Two aircraft and two high speed motorcrafts of the Coast Guard are on a 'hot pursuit' of the ship which allegedly brought a group of terrorists who carried out attacks in the Mumbai metropolis last evening.
According to a senior official of the Coast Guard, speaking from Mumbai on phone, two Dornier aircraft and two motorcrafts have been sent from Mumbai to chase the ship 'M V Alpha' - of Vietnamese origin.
''The ship has been identified and is being followed.'' Sources also said that security all along the coast, from Mumbai to Gujarat, has been beefed up and patrolling along the shores intensified.
''The Navy's help has not yet been sought, but if need be their services would be taken.'' UNI AN/MK PK NS1552
