CM briefs Shivraj Patil on situation in Mumbai
Mumbai, Nov 27 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh today briefed Union home minister Shivraj Patil about the situation in the metropolis, following the terror attacks last night.
Mr Deshmukh, who rushed to the city last night from Kerala, where he attended a function to distribute houses to the tsunami-hit people, also had a word with state home minister R R Patil and top bureaucrats.
A state cabinet meeting has been convened at 1400 hrs, followed by an all party meeting at 1500 hrs at Sahyadri guest house and a press conference at 1630 hrs at the same venue.
