Katie Holmes ditches baggy jeans for $1,100 D and G dress

New York, Nov 26 : Looks like baggy jeans no longer have a special place in Katie Holmes' wardrobe, for the actress was recently spotted taking a stroll with daughter Suri wearing a D and G dress, which was worth 1,100 dollars.

The casual wear-loving "All My Sons" star was seen in the East Village on November 24 decked in an ankle-length red plaid D and G version of streetwear, reports the New York Daily News.

The actress accessorised her rather 'expensive' ensemble with a simple black cardigan and her adorable baby girl.

The high fashion dress was quite in contrast to the inexpensive H and M gear the 29-year-old fashionista was spotted wearing last month.

Holmes hit headlines when she was seen wearing items from the discount retailer's Comme des Garcon line - a black and white polka dot long sleeve tee (24.90dollars), cardigan (69.90dollars) and scarf (59.90dollars) - en route to a "Sons" rehearsal.
