Firing at three places in south Mumbai
Mumbai, Nov 26 (UNI) At least three people were injured when unidentified people opened fire on passers-by at three places -- Colaba, Nariman Point and Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus-- here late tonight.
Police sources said the incidents took place at around 2215 hrs.
The sources said the incidents appeared to be pre-planned because they took place nearly simultaneously at the three places.
According to them, one of those injured was a policeman.
The sources suspected the incidents were a terrorist attack.
They also said that there were reports that four terrorists were staying at a well-known hotel in south Mumbai.
Police rushed reinforcement to the three locations and had cordoned off the areas.
