6 more youths surrender, granted bail in Juhu rave party case
Mumbai, Nov 26 (UNI) Six more youths, who had tested positive for drugs in the Juhu rave party here on October 6, were today granted bail by the special Narcotics Drug and psychotropic substances (NDPS) court, after they surrendered before the court.
Varun Vineet Kapoor, Carlisle D'costa, Jaasin Chagtas, Kapil S Bahel, Joseph Judge Britto and Suraja Bagle, were granted a bail of Rs 10,000 each by Additional Sessions Court Judge A A Bhatkar, after they moved the bail application.
Meanwhile, two other persons whose reports are yet to come from the Forensic Sciences Laboratory, moved anticipatory bail applications, but the court directed them to withdraw the petitions as the sections levelled against them were bailable.
It may recalled that yesterday same court had granted bail to six other persons in the case, in which 231 youths were detained and eight organisers were arrested.
