Tehsildar arrested for accepting bribe

Beed, Maharashtra, Nov 25 (UNI) Anti Corruption Beureau (ACB) sleuths today arrested tehsildar of Dharur, when he was allegedly accepting bribe from members of the Bodkha village grampanchayat for attending the no confidence motion meet called by them against the sarpanch.

Members of the grampanchayat had given a notice of no confidence aginst the sarpanch to the tehsildar Narayan Kadam on November 6.

For attending the meet at grampanchayat office, the tehsildar was demnding Rs 10,000. They paid him Rs 8000 and later contacted the ACB sleuths, who laid a trap and arrested Kadam while accepting Rs 2,000 from the members.
