Road show organised for awareness of AIDS in UP
Lucknow, Nov 25 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh AIDS Control Society today flagged-off a road show to promote the awareness of HIV among people in view of the forthcoming World Aids Day.
The road show campaign commenced from the residence of District Magistrate Chandra Bhanu here and would end on December 1 on the occasion of the World Aids Day.
During the campaign, being oganised with the assistance of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and Hindustan Latex Family Planning Promotion Trust (HLFPPT), people would be informed about the HIV and the ways of its prevention.
Besides, an awareness about the disease would also be spread through quick dramas.
