PM asked to explain on terror control in 100 days
Gwalior, Nov 25 (UNI) The BJP today asked Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to explain as how he could tackle terrorism in 100 days if he could not do the same in last 1600 days and even in the absence of POTA.
The Prime Minister has made a surprise announcement of a roadmap to check terrorism, but the government had not taken steps in that regard, BJP spokesperson Rajiv Pratap Rudy told newspersons here.
Strongly reacting to Congress chief Sonia Gandhi's charge at an election meeting in Bhind that the BJP had destroyed the social fabric, Mr Rudy wanted to know who had practised pseudo-secularism for the sake of vote bank in the last 60 years and who had encouraged intrusion.
He alleged that the Maharashtra government was attempting to bring dishonour the womanhood by holding out a threat to disrobe Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur detained in the Malegaon blast case.
