Labourer dies after being hit by Blueline in East Delhi

New Delhi (UNI) The killer Blueline today claimed another victim when a labourer was run over in East Delhi.

Twenty eight year old Suresh Kumar died after being hit by a Blueline bus operating on route number 534 near Madhu vihar in East Delhi, police said.

Suresh was crossing the road while going to work, when the bus, between Anand Vihar and Mehrauli, hit him at around 1300 hours, they said.

Bus driver Sher Singh fled from the spot, leaving the vehicle behind but later surrendered to the police.

A case of rash and negligent driving has been registered against the driver.
